Magpie Magpie
Where have you gone
If I follow you
I must run
You pull me in with your sleek long tail
Finding your flash of blue cobalt stripe in the late spring air
Will you wait for me
As I see you are still there
As I watch you
Do you see me
Are there more signs
Then your mere presence ?
What will you show me
Where will we go
New worlds of possibility
If I follow you through
-Oh hello sweet neighbor, how do you do?
-I came over to ask the same to you
- Well I’m debating the possibilities as many of birds in the sky
You see this Magpie has called to me,
To follow its fly
-That sounds nice and well, I wish you the best
Where is your magpie,
Your soaring mistress?
-Well I do believe the opportunity passed
My sweet flutter of change has flown out of range
-My condolences as the fault is my presence
your feet next to mine and not in the sky
-Oh sweet neighbor, I am stuck here with you
Stuck very happily too
As I see you now as a present of your own
With arms just like me, no feathered wings to roam
Let us sit here together as you answer my first
How do you do I asked you?
-Apart from a bit guilty for a lost magpies flow
I am not well, I came here with a load
-Well don’t you see its destiny
embedded in the magpies flight
she caught my attention just enough
to see you in clear sight
Come inside for a cup of tea
We live within the sky
And we can fly together
Just in being, you and I.
